Iconic Giant Shoe at Paradise Mini Golf

Completed in 2019, this iconic giant shoe was a personal favourite.

SUSHI ICHI

Sushi Ichi was one of the classic lunch spots for our crews. After countless dynamite rolls, one of my painters thanked the head chef (Nobu) on our way out, and Nobu graciously thanked him! The exterior of his restaurant was in pretty poor conditions, so I decided to pitch the idea of a complimentary quote. This is when I found out that Student Works Painting had painted his startup business 15 years prior! He was delighted to receive a
quote, and we moved forward with painting the following month!

This client had just purchased this home, they fell in love with the interior design but "COULDN'T STAND" the look of the aged cedar-shakes. I recommended a latex paint product from Cloverdale called Sharkskin which has linseed oil in it to further protect the weathered cedar. It left a rich chocolate finish which they really appreciated.

This particular client tried his hand at painting in the middle of December of 2018 (not a great time for painting to occur!). This project required an extensive amount of prep to the rear facing wall, and regular prep to the rest of the house.
